How long have you been working in the fitness industry?

 

I have been working in the fitness industry for 8 years now! I started out as a personal trainer at the University of Dayton.

 

Tell us about Anytime Fitness and why its different from other gyms?

 

What makes us different from other gyms is we give you all the tools necessary to make healthy happen!

 

We cover the 4 main components to ensure success on your fitness journey; exercise, nutrition, accountability, and motivation.

 

Combine that with the fact we are the most accessible health club in the world with 4,000 locations all open 24/7.

 

Do you have a favorite movement/workout?

 

My favorite strength movement would be deadlift!

My favorite cardio exercise is running!

 

 

Least favorite movement/workout?

 

Least favorite would have to be squats, sorry ladies. 

 

 

Does Anytime Fitness offer group fitness classes or personal training?

 

We offer group and personal training. Our group training sessions offer a team like atmosphere with 8-15 participants.

 

What if I’m new to fitness? Any advice? How should I go about learning about what exercises to do or which machines to use?

 

Fitness is just like anything else in life, it takes time and practice, desired results do not come with the snap of a finger. Be consistent, stay with it, and develop a workout/nutrition plan that works for you. Every body is different.

 

I know nutrition is important too for weight loss? Do you offer nutrition services at all?

 

I tell all of my clients nutrition/diet is 75% of the battle when it comes to weight loss. Exercise is only about 25% but you need to do both to achieve the results you want. Our staff offers professional nutrition guidance and meal recommendations with all of our coaching memberships.

 

Whats your favorite healthy restaurant in Cleveland?

 

Balance Pan Asian Grille and ya gotta try the brussel sprouts.

 

Any favorite non-gym activities you enjoy in the Cleveland area?

 

Golf! (Thank god Topgolf just opened)
